By combining Phoenix Down RPG’s symphonic musicianship and their love of Video Game Music, we have created Name That Tune. This mixtape is a variety show of our favorite video game music arranged with classically infused flair and performed in non-traditional performance formats paired with interactive trivia while attendees listen to our very own world-class musicians. Each Name That Tune performance is different, featuring music from different games, systems, and wildly different styles. We often pair trivia with these performances, creating a more immersive, conversational, and gamified performance for audiences and performers alike. Name That Tune has been featured at many popular conventions and festivals, including ColossalCon, GDEX, Origins, Charlotte BOOM, and Charlotte International Arts Festival.
